Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to run a tour?
Tour is $299/month with unlimited tournaments, unlimited participants, season-long standings, public tour portal, and full payment processing. No per-player fees, no per-tournament fees. Cancel anytime.
Can players use Cleek outside of tournaments?
Yes. Every player who registers for your tour gets a full Cleek account. Between tournaments they can track casual rounds, compete in challenges, join fantasy leagues, earn badges, and play with friends at their own golf club — all on the same app.
How do players register for tournaments?
Share your tournament portal link. Players register online and pay with a credit card. You can set member vs non-member pricing, enable approval workflows, manage waitlists, and import players via CSV.
Do you support Order of Merit / season standings?
Yes. Cleek automatically calculates season-long standings as tournaments complete. Configurable points tables, division-specific standings, and a public Order of Merit page on your tour portal.
Can I run multiple divisions and flights?
Yes. Create unlimited divisions per tournament with handicap ranges, gender filters, age brackets, and tee assignments. Players can be auto-assigned to the right division at registration.
Can I collect different fees for members vs non-members?
Yes. Set a base registration fee, then override with member-specific and non-member-specific pricing. Tour members who sign up for the season automatically get the member rate.
What about multi-round tournaments with cut lines?
Fully supported. Create tournaments with any number of rounds. Set cut lines (e.g., top 50 + ties) and apply them after any round. Cut players remain in the tournament record but don't advance.
How does multi-tier tour membership work?
Create membership tiers with different prices and benefits — for example, Tour Member at $300 and Platinum at $850. Players purchase memberships via Stripe checkout on your tour portal. Their tier is tracked automatically and can be used for member vs non-member pricing on tournament registration.
What is the withdrawal policy feature?
Configure refund tiers based on how many days before the event a player withdraws. For example: full refund 14+ days out, partial refund with admin fee 7-13 days out, forfeit within 7 days. Refunds process automatically through Stripe and the next player on the waitlist is promoted.
